Gyuri joined Astorg Partners in 2008 to help develop Astorg's portfolio internationally, and in particular in the fast growing central European region. Gyuri has over 10 years of private equity experience in central Europe with Baring Private Equtiy / Baring Corilius, which he co-founded, and with Julius Baer Capital. Prior to that, he spent six years with the EBRD as a Senior Banker and was responsible for Hungary. He started his career as a management consultant in the US and France.

Gyuri has a PhD in engineering from Harvard University and a BSc. in Physics (first class honours) from McGill University.
