- Early on Astorg Partners implemented an extended value sharing scheme. Starting in 2001, Astorg offered all of Sebia employees the possibility to become shareholders, together with the management. Five years later, when the company was sold, a large number of employees could thus share the value created. They were rewarded for their work, the risk taken and their loyalty to the company.
- Since then, Astorg has created co-investment companies open to management teams in most of the companies held in portfolio, giving shareholder status to a large number of managerial staff. .
- Since 2007, Astorg took advantage of the improved regulatory framework in setting up FCPEs (Employee Stock Ownership Plans) within certain portfolio companies, thus providing investing employees with a financially subsidized and tax-efficient investment opportunity.
